You can sleep what time you want. You can dance in your dorm as much as you can. You don’t have to follow the proper mealtime. You can do whatever you want because you are far from them, you are far from home.

And I say, is it freedom? Or more like lonesome? No more bedtime stories and I can no longer hear my favorite alarm clock, my mom.

College life means eating more instant foods, no more yummy meals cooked by my most favorite chef.

And it is sad to think hanging out when no one is waiting for my return, no more curfews, no more hundred missed calls from my mom.. and I realized, college means going home from school without asking, ” Asa si mama? (Where is mom?)”

And at that time, I am alone.
